First, the other day Melody wanted to wear a certain hat. It's a little baseball cap with a picture of a fish and it says "Grandpa says I'm a keeper." She was fiddling with the hat and here's how the conversation went:

Melody: Cracker (pointing at the fish)

Mom: That's a fish Melody

Melody: Cracker fish!

Next, this one really got me, it was so sweet. We were walking by a shop that had a flag outside. Melody is fascinated with flags so we watched for a moment.

Melody: Star!

Mom: Yes stars on the flag

Melody: Flag!

Mom: Yes the flag is waving

Melody: (Waving her hand) Hi flag!
